My mom died October 12, 2023, at 6 p.m. It’s been nearly a year since I got the call from the nursing home, and some days it feels better, and some days it’s worse. Most days, I feel the full spectrum of emotions all day long, and it’s overwhelming and disorienting.
When I’m feeling particularly sad, this little blob is oddly comforting.
